We are looking for 3rd and 4th Year Apprentices with experience on commercial projects and water treatment plants to join our team! Travel is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Build, assemble, install, repair, and maintain mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Layout equipment and pipe routes.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, solder, groove, crimp, and glue piping systems.
• Ensure proper tools for job are assembled at the work site.
• Understand proper installation methods of pipe systems and related equipment.
• Proper care and handling of equipment used on site.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Take direction from Journeyperson Plumber.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Registered as a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice with provincial/territorial regulatory body
• Commercial and Industrial construction experience
• Experience working on renovations and modifications on commercial projects
• Experience with hydronic systems
• Mechanical/boiler room experience
• A strong safety record.
• Ability to work with a variety of individuals and work in a team.
• Must have or be willing to obtain the following tickets: Fall Protection, WHMIS 2015, Elevated Work Platform, and Level 1 First Aid
• H2S Alive an asset
