Day Camp Associate Coordinator
The Town of Tecumseh is accepting resumes for the following student employment position for the Summer of 2025 in the Community & Recreation Services Department.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Supervisor Recreation Programs & Events, Associate Coordinators are responsible for assisting with planning, implementing and monitoring the Summer Day Camp Program for children from ages 5 to 12 years.
Qualifications and Requirements
The successful candidate must be enrolled in a post-secondary institution with an interest in recreation or childcare related fields. Candidates must have a minimum two (2) years' experience in children's programs and/or recreation programs. The successful candidate must have Standard First Aid with CPR-C, Automatic External Defibrillator, and HIGH FIVE certification with QUEST 2. Experience working with children or related course in children development, and experience in creative programming will be considered an asset. The preferred candidate will have knowledge of Town of Tecumseh Health and Safety policies and procedures and WHMIS regulations.

Salary
The Town offers an hourly salary of $18.69 (under review) for this position.
