Location: While our primary preference is for the candidate to be located in Edmonton, we are open to considering candidates based in other regions where AccessSMT and or CP Distributors has operational branches.

Job Description:

As a part of our Technical Services Department with AccessSMT and CP Distributors, we are looking for a talented individual with a keen eye for detail and strong understanding of door and hardware and electrical integration to join our team and help bring our projects to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and draft detailed electrical elevations for door hardware systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate door hardware solutions seamlessly into larger electrical plans.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback to meet project specifications and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in drafting electrical elevations (door hardware experience is a plus).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of door hardware functions, wiring, and power requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
