DescriptionWe are seeking a revenue-driven Director of Performance Marketing to lead our B2B SaaS company's paid marketing and website optimization efforts. This individual will oversee and optimize paid channels, lead website conversion rate optimization (CRO), manage a high-performing team, and drive revenue growth through data-driven strategies.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of managing substantial budgets, optimizing websites for conversions, and leading diverse teams in fast-paced, revenue-oriented environments. This role reports to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and collaborates closely with other directors in sales and marketing to maximize customer acquisition and demand generation.
What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of 8+ professionals, including experts in PPC, CRO, and broader marketing functions.
  • Oversee and optimize paid marketing campaigns across multiple channels to achieve company-aligned OKRs.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance campaign performance, improve ROI/ROAS, and accelerate customer acquisition.
  • Direct website optimization efforts, ensuring improved conversion rates and an enhanced user experience.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, preparing actionable reports to guide decision-making and communicate results.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and best practices in performance marketing and CRO.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Ensure all campaigns and initiatives align with company standards and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Bring
  • 7+ years of experience in growth leadership roles focused on paid search, paid campaigns, programmatic, and/or other revenue-driven marketing areas in B2B SaaS.
  • Proven track record in managing annual paid channel budgets of $5M+ and delivering revenue-focused outcomes.
  • 3+ years of experience in website optimization, including CRO strategies to drive conversions.
  • 7+ years of management experience leading teams of 8+ professionals, including PPC and CRO specialists.
  • Proficiency in marketing platforms like Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, and TikTok Ads, as well as marketing automation tools such as HubSpot.
  • Strong analytical mindset with expertise in leveraging data, implementing A/B testing frameworks, and making decisions based on performance insights.
  • Exceptional leadership, systems thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to align marketing initiatives with company revenue goals and manage by metrics.

Compensation Our base salary for this role ranges from $124,800-$187,100. Compensation is determined by factors such as market salary data within Canada, technical skills, previous work history, and internal pay equity. Many positions also include additional variable compensation, which our Talent Acquisition team will discuss with you during the interview process.
