Job Description

Are you ready to kickstart your career in strategic business development? We're excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Strategic Development Program Trainee in Prince George, Canada. This comprehensive program is designed to provide you with a 360-degree view of our business operations, preparing you for a dynamic career in strategic development.

  • Progress through a structured 5-phase program, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of our business
  • Learn and contribute to key business functions including warehouse logistics, operations, sales, and account management
  • Assist in shipping and receiving processes, developing a deep understanding of our product line and supply chain
  • Support customer service operations, manage orders, and contribute to inventory and pricing controls
  • Participate in large-scale project management initiatives
  • Develop skills in finding new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and building customer relationships
  • Analyze business processes and contribute innovative ideas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain a holistic understanding of the organization
  • Engage in continuous learning and development activities throughout the program
  • Apply strategic thinking to real-world business challenges and contribute to the company's growth initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous learning and growth
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability and willingness to take on diverse responsibilities across various business functions
