The Position:
Summit Search Grouphas been retained by a local Winnipeg plumbing and drain cleaning business on the recruitment of their next Plumbing General Manager. Our client prides themselves on delivering exceptional quality. The Plumbing General Manager will bring a wealth of industry knowledge, operational expertise, and leadership skills to manage and enhance their operations effectively.
This role is pivotal in ensuring that our client continues to meet the demands of their diverse clientele while identifying new business opportunities and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets, track financial performance, and implement strategies to improve profitability.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, establish partnerships, and expand the companys client base.
- Customer Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to industry safety standards and regulations, implementing best practices to minimize risks.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve operational processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on operational and financial performance to senior management.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years plumbing experience. Red Seal Certification is considered a strong asset.
- Strong leadership and management related skills.
- Excellent financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial statements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
