Wide Plank Hardwood is a recognized manufacturer of hardwood flooring located in Chilliwack.
We are seeking reliable, hard working production workers with experience in a fast paced environment.
Must have:
Valid Drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
Duties will include but not limited to:
Work on production and finishing lines.
Feeding flooring into machines.
Inspecting product to ensure it meets quality control standards.
Safely operate wood working machines.
General related production duties.
Qualifications:
Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor to represent the company.
Ability to work under pressure while still providing quality workmanship.
An eye for detail having the ability to examine lumber for defects if necessary.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Understanding of safety procedures and requirements.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
Stand for up to 8 hours per day.
Requirements:
Minimum high school diploma.
Basic math, reading and writing skills.
Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting up to 50 pounds.
Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30
Compensation based on skill and experience.
