West Fraser Chetwynd Forest Industries Woodlands team has an opportunity for a Woodlands Administration Assistant in Chetwynd.
Reporting to the Planning Superintendent, the Woodlands Administration Assistant will primarily work with and support a team of forest professionals responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing our forest management operations. In addition to Woodlands administrative duties, this position will also include duties associated with lumber shipping and inventory.
You'll Do:

As the Woodlands Administration Assistant, your primary duties will include:

• Administering outgoing and incoming road use agreement requests
• Liaising with other industries to secure facility crossing and proximity agreements
• Data entry into our LRM (Land Resource Manager) database
• Administering forestry referral packages throughout the planning process
• Taking Woodlands meeting minutes
• Other general woodlands administration related activities
Secondary duties associated with sawmill lumber shipping will include:
• Daily sawmill, kiln and planer lumber inventory administration
• Coordinating and fulfilling lumber shipping orders
• Month end lumber inventory counts

You have:

• Office administration experience, including data systems and general office programs such as Excel and Word
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• A commitment to safety and a positive attitude

Compensation Package:

• The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location. The yearly salary range is between $51,000 and $60,700.
• Annual bonus opportunity
