The General Manager is responsible for property management (100 units), including maximizing financial performance, guest satisfaction and working with a well-established team.
What you'll be doing.
- Direct operation of the hotel to drive revenue, manage costs and maintain quality standards.
- Lead the property as its brand & culture ambassador and create an environment where team members feel inspired and engaged.
- Develop the annual budget and sales & marketing plan while ensuring the budget goals in all departments are attained.
- Shape customer feedback to be constructive and provide strategic direction to continuously improve overall ratings.
- Be active in local community organizations.
- Embody leadership by setting performance goals for employees, hands-on coaching & support. Innovate & reward those high achievers.
Who you are.
- You have notable experience as a manager in a hotel or resort environment.
- A desire to continue learning with an understanding of hotel management practices, relevant laws and guidelines.
- Computer proficiency, youre competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel.
- The safety and well-being of your team is important to you and you can act in emergency situations.
- Possess a valid drivers license.
- You have strong working knowledge of property management systems and other industry software.
- Strata title resort experience considered an asset.
