Are you a master multitasker with a passion for creating memorable experiences? At Epicure, were searching for an enthusiastic and organized Event Plannerto bring our brand to life through exceptional events. Reporting to the Director of Events, youll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to plan and execute events that amplify our companys recognition and celebrate the Epicure brand.

As a vital member of our team, youll manage timelines, communicate with key stakeholders, and ensure every detail aligns with our vision. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and excel in professional communication, this role is your opportunity to shine and make an impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the content and function of the event registration site
  • Schedule and contribute to event project planning meeting
  • Compile event scope/requirement
  • Build, send out and manage Venue Request for Proposal (RFP) for small training events.
  • Coordinate Event project details and logistics with vendors:
    • Audio Visual
    • Food & Beverage
    • Lodging
    • Transportation
    • Collateral and Inventory
  • Track budget expenditures
  • Track tasks deadlines and communicate with stakeholders
  • Contribute to Event Marketing (Social Media) campaign
  • Assist with Event SWAG/Collateral
    • Sourcing items and packaging
    • Prepare PO for orders
    • Organizemail-out
    • Coordinate assembly
  • Problem solving
  • Travel to events to support the execution of top-rated events
  • Ensure the best attendees experience is provided
  • Be available to work occasional evenings and weekends

Such further and other tasks as may be required from time to time.

What you have:

  • Experience in Event Planning role or equivalent
  • Experience in Event industry both virtual and in person
  • Experience working with teams to host small- and large-scale events
  • Excellent Time Management Skills
  • Able to work in fast-paced, fast growth environment have a sense of urgency.
  • High tolerance for change and ambiguity
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments.
  • Strong knowledge Microsoft Applications, including PowerPoint and/or project management software
  • Budget minded individual able to source and negotiate cost with vendors.
  • Exemplary organizational skills and a keen eye for details
  • Excellent writing, spelling, and grammar skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • BilingualFrench is a bonus.
  • Available to travel internationally and work away from home.
  • Ability to drive to events, pick up items from vendors and deliver goods to venue

Job Type: Full-time
Location: Hybrid

Salary Range: $26-$32/hour
Compensation will be based on the candidate skills, education, experience and qualifications. This compensation information is provided in accordance with the BC Pay Transparency Act. and is an estimate based on what a BC applicant might be paid.
