Your role:

• Safely transport "the most precious cargo" — students — to and from school.
• Ensure the safety of students while they board and exit the bus.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee the bus is in safe operating condition.
• Assist in fueling and maintaining the bus's cleanliness to ensure a well-kept and reliable vehicle.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.

Requirements

Your profile

• Safety-Focused: A commitment to ensuring the safety of all passengers.
• Driver's License: A valid minimum Full G class license is required; preference will be given to candidates with a Class B license.
• Age Requirement: You are 21 years of age or older.
• Clean Driving Record: A proven history of safe driving practices.
• Background Check: Ability to obtain a clean criminal record check and/or vulnerable sector screening.
• Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with the local region and surrounding areas.
• Independent Worker: Capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Shift Availability: Available for split shifts, Monday to Friday, approximately 6:30 AM - 9:15 AM and 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM (exact times vary by route).
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
