Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team. As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding using fixtures and jigs, operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, and adhering to all Health & Safety policies and procedures. Additionally, you will work in a collaborative team environment to ensure orders are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding using fixtures and jigs
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, breakdowns, and blueprints
• Operate machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Follow all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and regulations
• Work in a team environment to complete orders on time
• Handle and move large pieces of metal, requiring physical strength and stamina
• Use precision measurement instruments
• Understand the importance of producing quality products
• Work unsupervised in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of welding experience
• High level of proficiency in welding standards
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
• Knowledge of glazing materials and metal fabrication for window applications preferred
• Familiarity with the mass transportation industry is a plus
• Strong ability to work well with a diverse group of individuals
• Respirator required for this position
• Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is considered an asset

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move large pieces of metal
• Standing or sitting for extended periods
• Physical strength and stamina required
