Position Overview
As the Property Care Crew Leader, you will oversee a crew to ensure the maintenance of our high-end residential and commercial properties. Your responsibilities will include:

Primary Duties (April to December):

  • Mowing lawns, trimming edges, and general turf maintenance.
  • Garden maintenance, including weeding, pruning, and planting.
  • Mulching and seasonal plant installations.
  • Operating and maintaining equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Leading your crew to complete daily tasks to the highest standard.
  • Ensuring client satisfaction by communicating professionally and addressing any on-site concerns.

Seasonal Duties (November to December and March):

  • Installing and removing Christmas light displays.
  • Ensuring decorations are installed safely and reflect the quality craftsmanship were known for.

Layoff Period (January and February):

  • Eligible for Employment Insurance (EI) benefits.
  • Employer top-up pay during the layoff period.

What Were Looking For

  • Experience in landscaping, gardening, or property care (supervisory experience is a strong asset).
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.

  • Physical ability to perform outdoor labor in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid G drivers license (required).
  • Experience with landscaping equipment and basic mechanical skills.
