We are seeking a talented and experienced Integrations Engineer to join our dynamic team at Swift Medical! As an Integrations Engineer, you will play a crucial role in integrating Swift's software solutions with external systems and platforms. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design, develop, and implement seamless integrations, ensuring interoperability and data exchange between different healthcare systems.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Swift's software solutions and external systems, such as EMRs (Electronic Medical Records) and other healthcare applications, using QVera as a platform.
  • Collaborate with internal development teams to understand integration requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Work closely with clients and third-party vendors to gather integration requirements and implement custom integration solutions.
  • Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of integration solutions, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
  • Support QA on testing and troubleshooting of integrations to ensure smooth data exchange and system interoperability.
  • Document integration processes, configurations, and technical specifications for reference and future maintenance.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients and internal teams regarding integration-related issues and inquiries.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and standards in healthcare IT and integration practices.
What You Bring To Swift
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in software development and integration projects, with a strong understanding of integration patterns and protocols.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript.
  • Experience working with APIs, web services, and data formats commonly used in healthcare IT, such as HL7 and FHIR.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex integration requirements and develop robust solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment, managing multiple integration projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT systems, interoperability standards, and regulatory requirements is preferred.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada.
