We Are Hiring for a Full-Time Operations Manager at our Kingsville Distribution Centre!

• Salary is negotiable based on experience
• Full time + occasional overtime
• Monday-Saturday, travel required

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Implement policies, procedures, and organizational structures to enhance workflows.
• Manage staffing plans, recruitment, and training to maintain a skilled workforce.
• Track expenses, develop budgets, and manage operations within financial guidelines.
• Monitor packaging inventory and minimize waste to reduce operational costs.
• Oversee building maintenance and ensure timely repairs and preventative schedules.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance evaluations to the operations team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 7+ years of management experience, preferably in the produce industry.
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety programs, and HR principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of produce handling, storage, and packaging regulations is an asset.
