Job Summary
As a Personal Support Worker, you will be an integral member of our home care team, working under the supervision of the Care Coordinator to provide personal care and support services that meet our clients needs.
Responsibilities
Assist with personal care and hygiene.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if necessary.
Perform light housekeeping duties.
Accompany clients on outings.
Assist with shopping and errands.
Provide medication assistance/reminders.
Support clients with ambulation and transportation.
Offer companionship and emotional support.
Follow care plans as directed.
Document and chart care provided.
Qualifications
Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurses and nursing students are welcome).
Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.
Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray (required before starting).
Ability to travel within the service area.
Reliable access to the internet and a mobile phone.
