- Perform MIG and Stick welding on various metals and components according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Inspect and test welds for strength, accuracy, and conformity to specifications.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and adheres to safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain and clean welding equipment and work area.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
- Follow all company guidelines and standards for quality control.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding, specifically MIG and Stick welding.
- Valid Welding Certificate/Ticket (CWB, AWS, or equivalent).
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials, and work in various positions.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Additional certifications or training in welding (TIG, flux core, etc.) is an asset.
