Cabin Resource Management Ltd. has built a foundation of experience and dedication to quality and innovative solutions in forestry, heritage, wildfire planning and resource analysis. We are currently looking to add a Junior Forest Technician to our Forestry team for Spring 2025.

Responsibilities:

As a Junior Forest Technician you will be responsible for the following:

  • GPS and field data collection/troubleshooting/management
  • Riparian assessments
  • Assist with timber cruising
  • Timber Reconnaissance
  • Road/cut block traversing and surveying
  • Site Plan data collection
  • This position is working out within the field in all weather conditions

What we are looking for:

  • A proven commitment to safety
  • A huge passion for forestry and ability to be an awesome team member
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license
  • Education in forestry with a Forestry Tech Diploma, Forestry Degree, Natural Resource and Environmental Science Degree, RPF or RFT designation and/or experience within the forestry field is preferred
  • All other forestry experience is considered an asset
