This includes implementing HR processes and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy, managing the recruitment and selection process, developing, and implementing HR policies and procedures, coordinating employee development, and training programs, managing employee relations, ensuring strict compliance with labor regulations, providing a secure and confident work environment for all.
Essential Functions: What you'll do:
- Manage and develop HR Generalists
- Partner and coach hiring managers on a variety of employees issues, including, hiring, performance management, employee relations, training, employee development, compensation, and benefits
- Develop and implement winning HR strategies that boost employee engagement and align with our business goals
- Manage onboarding programs to ensure a smooth and engaging integration of new team members
- Manage the performance management process
- Manage updates of the company handbook
- Collaborate with the Total Rewards managers on benefits and compensation administration
- Address employee relation issues, promptly, fairly, and professionally
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Develop ways to improve HR processes and practices to ensure a positive employee experience
- Supports additional projects and assignments as required.
Qualifications: What you'll need to be successful
- 4-5 years as an HR Manager in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership experience, experience leading HR Generalists, coordinators, or specialists
- Successful history of managing multiple facilities
- Ability to build relationships with direct reports, hiring managers, and team members quickly and effectively
- Able to connect and relate to people in person and virtually
- Multistate HR knowledge, strongly preferred
- Strong conflict-resolution skills
- Experience HR Software and tools - HRIS, ATS
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects
- SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
- Collaborator, collaborative
- Solid communication skills
- Strong people skills, active listener, empathetic
