Summer Student – Municipal Office SupportResponsibilities
1.Record retention support including paper filing and scanning documents.
2.Assist in the preparation of correspondence, reports and minutes.
3.Keyboarding and data entry.
4.Meeting agenda copying.
5.Property Tax and Water billing support.
6.Prepare outgoing mailings.
7.Customer service including telephone and counter reception duties.
8.Other duties as assigned.
Eligibility Requirements and General Qualifications
•Must be at least 16 years of age by May 1, 2025.
•Must be in full time attendance at a Secondary School, University or Community College recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Education and returning to school in September 2025.
•The ability to travel and provide own transportation.
Working Conditions
•Work is in an office environment at the main office.
•35 hour work week.
Hourly Rate of Pay:
$22.00 per hour
