Our client is seeking a skilled Building and Grounds Maintenance Professional to oversee maintenance and repair programs for their seniors care home located in Red Deer County, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage maintenance and repairs for buildings, equipment, and grounds, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Perform and supervise tasks like carpentry, painting, and landscaping.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.

Handle specialized cleaning and maintenance, including high-altitude tasks.

Qualifications:

Must have: Valid Building Operator A or B or New 5th Class Certificate, with at least three years of relevant experience.

Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of local building codes.

Proficiency with tools and equipment for various maintenance tasks.

Excellent communication, organizational skills, and emotional stability.

Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions and perform heavy lifting.
