Talbot & Associates (T&A) is a bilingual Accounting Firm (CPA) founded in Manitoba that has been dedicated to providing outstanding client relations and support services since 1991. WHAT YOULL BRING

  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities, with the capability to prioritize tasks independently.
  • Strong judgment, reasoning skills, and discretion in decision-making.
  • A professional, responsive, and positive work attitude is essential.
  • Resourceful and flexible in adapting to changing tasks.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles, demonstrated through experience or education.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficient computer skills, with expertise in QuickBooks Online.
  • Quick learner who is open to receiving feedback.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset, but not required.

WHAT YOULL DO

  • Prepare compilations, including reconciling accounts, posting journal entries, and preparing supporting documentation.
  • Prepare sales tax and corporate tax returns.
  • Prepare personal tax returns.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual bookkeeping for small businesses across various industries, including processing transactions and reconciling accounts.
  • Assist with tax planning calculations as needed.
  • Maintain timely communication with clients and colleagues while fostering positive relationships.
  • Perform tax and accounting research as required.
  • Self-manage workload and projects effectively.
  • Perform other duties relevant to the position as assigned.
