Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks on various industrial machinery, including bucket elevators, screw conveyors, pumps, fans, and large rotating equipment like kilns and ball mills.
• Utilize schematics, diagrams, manuals, and technical instructions to diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Undertake minor fabrication and rigging work as required, including creating hand sketches and drawings.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities such as cleaning, lubrication, and calibration.
• Adhere to company health and safety policies and comply with legal regulations during fieldwork
• Document completed work and detailed notes accurately in the CMMS database on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in operating heavy industrial machinery.
• Possess strong computer, problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Capable of safely lifting up to 50lbs regularly and adhering to PPE requirements.
• Comfortable with regular stair climbing.
• Experienced in rigging and fabrication welding.
• Knowledgeable in hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, and basic control systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and electrical equipment.
• Preference for candidates with a 433A license, Certificate of Qualification, and Certificate of Apprenticeship.
• Previous experience in a heavy industrial environment, particularly in cement or mining surface plants, is advantageous.
