Our client, located in Innisfil ON, is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join their team and provide specialized technical support for our client's products to various stakeholders, with a focus on expanding the customer base in North America while meeting current sales targets.
Job Responsibilities:
- Access and qualify potential leads and prospects.
- Conduct both remote and in-person visits to existing and prospective clients.
- Compile and analyze sales and call reports.
- Assist in crafting technical presentations.
- Offer technical guidance to customers and prospects.
- Aid in product formulation consultations.
- Engage in industry tradeshows and exhibitions.
- Cultivate and oversee distributor relationships.
- Attend weekly Sales Conference Calls.
- Develop and organize marketing materials as directed by sales management.
- Coordinate with the marketing department on promotional activities, trade shows, market analysis, and publications.
- Recommend and facilitate participation in educational events for self-improvement.
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge Requirements:
- Must have at least 5 years of experience working in a similar role.
- A Civil Engineering or Chemical Testing background is preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and adept at computer use.
- Capable of working autonomously, prioritizing tasks, and managing time efficiently.
- Possession of a university degree or diploma in material testing or a related scientific field, with at least three years of experience in Building Construction.
- Ability to travel across North America as required.
