Dynergy is a leading Energy Management Company (EMCo) that provides comprehensive energy and sustainability solutions to our clients.
The primary objective of the Energy Analyst is to collect, manage and analyze performance data, identify conservation opportunities (ECO) anddevelop energy management strategies forcommercial buildings.
Duties and Responsibilities of Energy Analyst
- Collect, input and monitor energy use of the building utilizing utility bills, interval meter data and sub-meter data
- Accounts and meter set-up in website and database
- Perform an analysis of the energy and water use trend of the building, identify any anomalies in energy and cost (billing) data, normalize the energy and cost data, identify suitable energy conservation opportunities and report key findings
- Utilize submeter information to help assess key building loads as well as identify operations improvements within a building.
- Assist in an energy performance assessment of the building system and identify the energy waste and energy conservation opportunity
- Calculate energy potential energy savings from energy efficiency measures
- Conduct site visits as needed to asses building electrical and mechanical information
- Prepare an energy reports; including description of the building system and performance, analysis of the energy use, calculated an energy savings based on recommended energy conservation measure
- Prepare energy and water projected use and budget cost for commercial buildings
- Deliver any energy efficiency incentives or government grants on behalf of clients
- Provide continuous support and assistance from beginning to end of an energy efficiency project process
- Develop, promote and deliver information events across energy industry trend and carbon reduction through energy efficiency and calculate building GHG performance for scope 1 and scope 2 emissions
- Assist in developing and documenting a case studies for energy efficiency best practice used within the project
- Perform measurement and verification(M&V) as outlined in the project proposal
- Submit a progress reports for internal and external
- Provide an end of project report to Dynergy energy team and management / key stakeholders
- Carry out such administrative and data management task relevant to the job
Working Conditions:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm - Hybrid work (Concord, ON)
Business travel within the GTA using personal vehicle will be required. Kilometers will be reimbursed.
