Position Summary:
Bioriginal Food & Science Corp. (Bioriginal) is growing, and so is our marketing team. We are seeking a skilled and creative Communications Specialist to elevate brand visibility, enhance customer engagement, and drive business growth for Bioriginal and the Bioriginal Group of Companies (GOC). The successful candidate will have experience crafting compelling content for B2B audiences, managing communication strategies that resonate internationally, and collaborating with global cross functional teams. Ideally, they will have a passion for health and nutrition products in the human and pet nutrition markets and a proven ability to develop creative content that inspires action and delivers measurable results. Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Develop and execute communication plan to promote Bioriginal and its Group of Companies' (GOC) products, services, and industry thought leadership
- Create high-quality, engaging written content, including blogs, articles, web/landing pages, press releases, video scripts, brochures/sell sheets, etc.
- Write copy for PPC ads and assist in Google Ads campaign execution
- Plan and coordinate social media content and monitor post engagement
- Support event and tradeshow communications, including pre-show promotion, on-site content creation, and post-show follow-ups
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, new product development and quality, as well as agencies, and other vendors to develop best in class communication
- Build and nurture relationships with industry media outlets and influencers to maximize PR and execute press releases
- Act as the primary contact for media inquiries and coordinate interviews with staff and experts
- Track and analyze communication campaigns to assess performance and inform future strategies
- Ensure all internal/external communications are clear, engaging, and aligned with corporate messaging
- Perform other administrative duties as required
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in public and media relations and/or internal communications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail
- Enthusiasm and creativity
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to research technical topics and effectively explain benefits to a B2B audience
- Excellent communication skills both internally and externally with clients
- Knowledge of internal communication channels and tools such as Microsoft365 suite including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
- Familiarity with best practices for SEO, SEM, landing page optimization, social engagement, etc. is an asset
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills both internally and externally with clients
- B2B communications experience in the natural food or supplement industry preferred
- The ability to work in additional languages is an asset
