The Role:

eCapital is currently seeking a Collections Analyst to join our team in our Orillia Ontario office. At eCapital, our employees are the base of our business, and dynamic employees enable us to service our clients in the most exceptional manner.

As a Collections Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting on outstanding funds from debtors. You will be accountable for developing positive rapport with clients and debtors by engaging in high levels of communication on a daily basis—all within a fast paced, goal-oriented department.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of assigned collection portfolio

  • Building positive relationships with debtors to ensure prompt payment of receivables

  • Resolving billing discrepancies & disputes

  • Solving problems related to billing & payments, legal claims, or paperwork issues

  • Evaluating/mitigating financial exposures or risk

  • Working closely with internal colleagues to provide exceptional customer service to our clients

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Math and basic accounting skills

  • Ability to identify and solve problems

  • Accurate, accountable, and goal oriented

  • Post-Secondary education in Business or another related field is preferred
