- Provide on-site (5 days a week) support and advice to all stakeholders and delivery teams
- Participate in and coordinate, verification, validation activities and test events relating to sensor integration
- Conduct Eng and management analyses of the clients' issues as needed
- Participate in national and international standards working groups (WG), routine program meetings and domain specific conferences that will assist in the evolution of the Sensor Integration
- Participate in program Large Solution Increment, HQ Domain and Program Increment events as necessary
- Access, monitor and contribute to SharePoint and Eng information system (EIS) Observations and SPRs
- Provide Eng architectural support in response to all observations SPRs
- Participate in ISTAR/Geo vision and road mapping workshops
- Support integration activities on DND systems including, but not limited to DWAN, Consolidated Secret Network Infrastructure and Joint Secret Information System
- Develop test plans for all of the client's sensor integration capabilities
- Provide direct, on-site support to CA and international events, exercises and, when necessary, operations
- Developing, designing and maintaining test beds, and test procedures
- Produce reports and presentations as needed
- Identify integration opportunities between next-generation infrastructure projects
- Define, maintain, and drive the software configuration and integration plan with the main platform integrator
- Designing and developing software integration test specifications according to platform software requirements and architecture
- Developing scripts and software applications to enhance the integration process and build the system
- Support Product Development Teams in the setup and execution of the product integration when projects are starting
- Deploy the components on the integration environment
- Proof of STEM diploma (2 year minimum) or University Degree in networking, software, computer, systems, electrical, or a suitable engineering or technical field required to support Land C4ISR.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in system engineering in a minimum of 3 of this assessment area's criteria:
- Demonstrated work experience in planning, configuring, employing and managing command and control communication and information systems in a distributed platform environment or within a client/server environment, or ISTAR systems.
- Demonstrated work experience in identifying, analyzing and resolving complex communication and information system and/or ISTAR system problems.
- Demonstrated work experience in analyzing, designing and/or implementing solutions for communication and information systems or ISTAR systems.
- Demonstrated work experience in developing and documenting system management solutions (tools and processes) for command and control communication and information systems in mobile platforms or within a client/server environment, or ISTAR systems.
- Demonstrated work experience in system integration, verification and validation, for hardware and software components (COTS and/or custom developed) in new or existing systems;
- Demonstrated work experience in life-cycle management of tactical communication and information systems, or ISTAR systems.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a System Specialist on Military C4ISR systems.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in the preparation of technical concept documents, system specifications, and technical proposals in the field of Information Technology / Information management or engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in each of at least three of this assessment area's criteria:
- Communicating information technology frameworks/strategies to management and technical staff.
- Communicating system engineering direction for projects or systems.
- Providing advice, guidance and recommendations on technical issues to support the decision-making of senior management.
- Participating in multidisciplinary teams in the development of IT tactical systems, frameworks or strategies.
- Performing strategic, operational or tactical planning for projects or systems to meet corporate strategy.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance and a Controlled Goods certification
