Join EVRAZ North America's Red Deer team as an Operations and Training Coordinator, where your expertise will drive the efficiency and skill development of our workforce. The Operations & Training Coordinator is accountable to provide administrative support in the area of technical training, and staff scheduling for the hourly workforce to enhance our operational excellence.

Job Description and Responsibilities
Join EVRAZ North America's Red Deer team as an Operations and Training Coordinator, where your expertise will drive the efficiency and skill development of our workforce. The Operations & Training Coordinator is accountable to provide administrative support in the area of technical training, and staff scheduling for the hourly workforce to enhance our operational excellence.
- Coordinate the updating of training materials used for classroom, online and on the job training with subject matter experts
- Maintain training records (e.g., trainee list, schedules, attendance sheets, database)
- Book all aspects of training sessions to ensure they are properly set up
- Prepare and disseminate material (e.g., instructional notes, feedback forms)
- Update and maintain timecards and work schedules for hourly employees in Kronos Systems as determined by EVRAZ Leadership
- Enforce, maintain all requirements and documentation for the Collective Agreement as it relates to scheduling, recalls, transfers and other applicable areas
- Provide information to employees on scheduling matters
- Act as a point of contact for vendors, participants and EVRAZ Leadership
- Handle payroll, accounts receivable and ensure invoices are paid
- Submit reports on training activities, training results, employee schedules
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in administration, training and/or project management
- 2-5 years' experience as a Training Administrator, HR Assistant or similar role
- 2 years of experience as a staff scheduler
- Preference will be given to candidates with a focus on learning, development and training
- Experience working with Kronos is an asset
- Well-organized and flexible with well-developed time management skills to handle a demanding workload and multiple/tight deadlines
- Excellent project management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
