Overview
Reporting to the Manager of Residential Marketing, the Coordinator, Residential Marketing is responsible for the professional development and implementation of all marketing activities for Centurion Property Associates Inc.
The Coordinator, Residential Marketing is accountable for the successful management of all residential marketing resources, contracts, tools and supplies for Centurion entities according to established standards and within established budgets.
Responsibilities
Relationship Development
Develop and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a liaison between Centurion and its partners and suppliers. Ensure that a high level of client satisfaction is achieved through consistent attention to Centurion's Vision, Mission and Values.
Brand Management
Assist with the enhancement of property brand identity by ensuring consistency from one property to the next through the implementation of uniforms and name tags. Ensure brand guides are adhered to and rolled out across all properties to keep the properties cohesive and consistent.
Ongoing Operations
Oversee the day-to-day residential marketing needs. Develop and distribute e-blasts, newsletters, and blogs. Update the residential marketing materials including, but not limited to, print brochures, flyers, banners, posters, postcards and signage. Request and gather multiple quotes from Vendors for all related marketing purposes. Ensure that all materials are on time, within budget and in line with all brand guidelines. Work closely with the managers in each region to get a better understanding of their unique marketing needs, incorporating these to define a formal program that can be rolled out portfolio wide. This program should incorporate templated resident communications, posters, social media posts, resident events and brand guidelines to ensure that residents everywhere receive a consistent experience regardless of location. Develop a full-cycle events programming calendar for the student housing business, assisting with the coordination and implementation of these events. For all new building acquisitions, work closely with the operations team to ensure promotional materials are ordered in advance, assisting with the coordination and implementation of grand opening events. Coordinate signage for new buildings, in accordance with Centurions existing brand guidelines, ensuring that the buildings are fully branded in advance of opening. Develop and maintain Centurions signage book. Develop content for lobby screens, student housing collateral as well as social media. Coordinate property photography and videography, ensuring the quality of images are in line with styling guidelines and shot objectives.
Strategic Initiatives
Assist with the creation of a formal experience program for all residences that supports engagement and retention, creating an overall sense of community for all. Support the resident experience program including creating welcome packages and supporting all resident activities such as, game nights, contests, charity drives, movie screenings and all other community social engagement programming. Work closely with the operations team to create and implement resident surveys, analyzing results to determine average customer satisfaction scores in each region. Support CSAT and NPS programs. Monitor and respond to Google Reviews, providing reports and insights to Management on a regular basis. Assist with the creation and management of a Google review campaigns, responsible for creating Google review campaigns. Build and Maintain Google My Business pages for each property location. Conduct Google My Business Reports, identifying common themes and raising opportunities for improvement to appropriate managers within the operations team. Complete other projects as assigned.
Industry and Product Knowledge
Maintain a constant awareness of the competitive environment for similar companies, conducting extensive research to obtain a full understanding of our competitive market position. This includes staying up to date with what our competitors are doing in terms of resident events and community involvement. Ensure that the Vice President of Marketing and other department leads are provided with the most current, favorable view of Centurion Property Associates Inc. | The MARQ Student Residences and its competitive value and proposition.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree preferred;
- Minimum 2 years experience in marketing and advertising, preferably within the property advertising, securities and/or REIT industries;
- Self-starter; highly motivated and able to take the initiative required to achieve set goals and objectives;
- Strong project management skills, able to oversee a task from start to finish with little guidance and supervision;
- Detail-oriented, able to resolve problems using relevant information, thinking and practical judgement;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Excellent organizational skills, with a strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once;
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas effectively to both individuals and groups;
- Excellent command of MS Office products: Word, Power Point, Excel;
