The Junior Account Sales Executive is responsible for supporting the Sales Director or Account Sales Executive all accounts. This position supports the account management and sales initiatives as delegated by their Sales Director /Account Sales Executive. The Junior Account Sales Executive position is expected to have a full understanding of the goals and knowledge of the business operations and act as the Account Sales Executive in the absence of the Sales Director or Account Sales Executive should the need arise.
Essential Functions (Including but not limited to):
- Share best seller recap with internal and external partners to build insights into future assortment strategies.
- Build strong relationships with buyers to enhance trust and gain insights into each individual account
- Visit stores on an ongoing basis to ensure best merchandising presentation is in place, and stock levels are aligned with floor set standards.
- Create line sheets in NuOrder prior to each market cycle.
- Manage all samples and showroom presentation.
- Competitively shop the market and build deeper understanding of our customer and identify future product opportunities and pricing strategies.
- Run daily open order/NSR reports to ensure orders are aligned to inventory and ready to ship dates.
- Create and manage bulks accurately.
- Work with production to ensure that goods are arriving on time and in full to fulfill order.
- Maintain a working knowledge and ownership of customer specific requirements for ticketing routing and other account needs.
- Continually keep an open line of communication of the status of the order with the external buying teams.
- Vendor Portal: upload images and product details to account requirements for online, pull sales and style info.
- Place buys for customer specific orders and place production orders.
- Complete and manage customer item set up sheet templates.
- Match customer specific buys/bulks against the projection given to planning.
- Attend internal meetings with other departments such as Production, Planning and Merchandising to support the order and product assortments.
- Perform any other duties as assigned in support of the company needs and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in business sales or merchandising or other related field and 2 years professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with off price, wholesale and mainline industries
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to apply good work habits to effectively complete assigned tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the company/department.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal skills as required for effective interpersonal communication.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and workload seamlessly and follow-up, while meeting deadlines.
- Strong business judgement and sense of urgency and can work independently under critical time frames and work on multiple assignments.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret data and draw valid conclusions that show understanding and insight with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be extremely flexible and adaptable in completing a diverse range of assignments in a timely manner and adaptable to change and have the ability to prioritize projects and workload.
- Willingness to travel to accounts, attend professional work dinners and events when presented.
- Must be bilingual, French and English languages preferred
