OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Region: Eastern Ontario - Ottawa, Cornwall, Kingston

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers within your assigned sales territory.
  • Generate leads and conduct market potential research to create quote opportunities.
  • Prepare and present quotations to customers effectively.
  • Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and convert them into customers.
  • Maintain an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales.
  • Negotiate strategically with potential and existing customers to close sales.
  • Adhere to all company procedures, values, and policies to represent the company accurately.
  • Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.
  • Continuously meet or exceed sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is an asset.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in spreadsheet software.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Proven sales and customer service experience.
  • Proficient in math, with the ability to take measurements and read drawings.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes is an asset.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to travel within the prescribed territory.
