We are seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our client team in Pickering, ON. As a Tig Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Location: Pickering, ON.

Industry: Metal Fabrication.

Pay rate: $20.00-$29.00 per hour.

Shift: Afternoon- 3pm to 11pm.

Experience: 5 years.

Requirements

• Perform Tig welding on various metal components
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding requirements
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and press brake machines
• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality
• Use calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure precise measurements
• Assist with rigging and moving materials using forklifts and other equipment
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet production goals
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

• Specializing in Tungsten Inert Gas arc welding (GTAW) (TIG).
• Operate manual TIG welding equipment & setup..
• Tack and Fit assemblies independently.
• Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
• Custom fabrication, Machinery or equipment repair, Stainless Steel welding, Gas Welding Machine.
• Types of Materials: Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, & Aluminum alloys in light gauges < 1/8” thick.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, maintain strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and standing for long periods.
• Ability to lift upwards of 50lbs.
