Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Lead to oversee a 6-8 month project in Brantford, Ontario. This role involves managing a team on a co-packing line in a cold environment (3-5°ree;C). The Production Lead will play a key role in ensuring seamless operations for a new contract, including line management, process oversight, and system integration. The ideal candidate will start as soon as possible to receive training at our Etobicoke facility for the first 1-2 months until the 6 month project commences.

Location: Brantford, Ontario
Compensation: $30/hour + benefits
Contract Duration: 6-8 months (possibility of renewal)
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of 12-16 line workers to ensure efficient and accurate hand assembly operations.
• Manage daily production schedules and maintain a high standard of quality and productivity.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems and processes are properly implemented and maintained.
• Oversee system inputs related to production metrics, inventory, and performance data.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with health and safety standards in a cold environment (3-5°ree;C).
• Provide training, guidance, and support to team members to ensure alignment with company goals.
• Adapt to evolving production requirements and implement changes as needed to meet project milestones.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a production lead, supervisor, or similar role in a manufacturing or co-packing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Familiarity with production systems and processes; experience with system integration is a strong asset.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a cold environment (3-5°ree;C); appropriate equipment and attire will be provided.

Work Environment:

• Primary operations in Brantford, Ontario
• Cold storage facility
• Initial training period at the Etobicoke facility for 1-2 months to gain familiarity with processes and systems. (mileage expense provided)
