We are hiring a Full-Time Health & Safety Risk Manager

• Salary is negotiable based on experience
• Full time + flexibility required, including travel across Canada and the USA
• Monday to Friday schedule

Responsibilities

• Lead risk assessments to identify workplace hazards and implement strategies to minimize accidents.
• Develop and enforce health, safety, and risk management policies to ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and training programs to promote safety awareness and maintain a safe work environment.
• Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and oversee corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with departments to integrate safety measures into daily operations and implement engineering controls to meet safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Human Resources, Business, or Kinesiology (preferred).
• Occupational Health and Safety Certification (required).
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in health and safety risk management, preferably in manufacturing or production.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. Occupational Health and Safety regulations, HACCP, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with flexibility for travel.

Working Conditions: This role involves occasional work in environments with varying temperatures, loud noise, and physical activity. Flexibility with hours and willingness to travel are essential.
