Senior Angular JS Developer (Hybrid)

Location- Toronto,ON (the Client expects that the Candidate will be visiting the office 4 days per week)

We are seeking a talented Angular JS Developer to join our dynamic team in the capital markets industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in developing scalable web applications using Angular JS, along with a solid understanding of AWS and web services. You will be working alongside our product development team to enhance and maintain our existing applications while also contributing to the design and implementation of new features. This role requires working in an Agile or rapid application development environment, where you will engage in continuous collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is essential, as you will be expected to improve deployment processes and ensure smooth integration of code changes. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Angular JS and integrate with AWS services.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define project scopes and deliverables.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration between front-end and back-end services.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to set up CI/CD pipelines for efficient code delivery.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, ensuring the highest quality of user experience.
• Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications for future reference.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Angular JS Developer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and web services architecture.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
• Familiarity with Agile or rapid application development methodologies.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a focus on building responsive web applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
