Position Overview:


We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Project Manager Team Lead to oversee the smooth running of all School and Institution projects from order to completion. This role involves managing a team of 3-5 direct reports, collaborating with various internal departments, and ensuring that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, optimizing internal processes, and driving continuous improvement across all stages of project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Planning and Coordination:
  • Collaborate with clients to fully understand project scope, timelines, and specific requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project timelines that include design, production, delivery, and installation phases.
  • Effectively allocate resources, including installers, warehouse teams, Project Coordinators, and other Project Managers, to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor and manage project expenses, ensuring that budget deviations are promptly addressed and minimized.
  1. Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Facilitate smooth communication across cross-functional teams including design, sales, logistics, and installation departments.
  • Proactively resolve client concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  1. Quality Assurance & Risk Management:
  • Supervise installation teams to ensure installations meet agreed-upon specifications, are completed safely, and adhere to quality standards.
  • Anticipate potential project challenges such as production delays or delivery issues and develop effective contingency plans.
  • Quickly address on-site issues, including incomplete deliveries or unforeseen installation challenges.
  • Ensure all installations meet CDI's brand standards and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of project details, including contracts, schedules, and post-installation feedback for future reference.
  1. Client Satisfaction and Follow-Up:
  • Conduct thorough project walkthroughs with clients to confirm deliverables are met.
  • Gather client feedback and use it to drive continuous improvement in service and project execution.
  • Oversee any post-installation warranty services or follow-ups, ensuring a seamless client experience.
  1. People Management:
  • Conduct regular bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with project managers to ensure team alignment and discuss project progress.
  • Lead bi-annual performance reviews for staff, setting clear goals and expectations for individual and team performance.
  • Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability within the team.
  • Monitor and drive the Employee Net Promoter Score (ENPS), aiming for a score of 60+.
  • Provide ongoing training and mentoring to team members, ensuring they are equipped with the skills to excel in project management.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and improve efficiency in project delivery.
  1. Performance Metrics:
  • Ensure regular communication with clients every 10 days to provide updates.
  • Ensure all Customer Service Requests (CSR) are submitted within 2 days of project completion.
  • Monitor and track quoted vs. actual gross profit for projects.
  • Maintain an Employee Net Promoter Score (ENPS) of 60+ to ensure team satisfaction.
  • Achieve a Client Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 75+ to reflect client satisfaction.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience of 5+ years in project management, particularly in the school and institution sectors.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Solid understanding of budget management, resource allocation, and cost control practices.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) are a plus.
