Job duties:

• Manage and supervise landscape crews (3-4 people).
• Organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
• Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work.
• Maintain work records and logs.
• Read blueprints and drawings.
• Repair and maintain equipment.
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Establish work schedules and procedures.
• Snow removal in the winter.

Terms of employment:

• Full time permanent

• Wage: $27.00, annual bonuses.
• benefits package offered: Medical & Dental extended benefits after 3 months, company will pay 50%.
• location(s) of work: Same as business location and various locations in Edmonton and surrounding areas, Calgary and surrounding areas, and various locations within Alberta depending on where our projects are located.

Skills / Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Landscape Foreman/Woman;
• Leadership for Safety Excellence training (is an asset);
• Valid Driver's license with clean driver's abstract;
• Able to successfully complete a drug & alcohol pre-screening and criminal record check;
• Ability to work long hours (10 – 12 hours per day);
• Combination of sitting, standing, walking;
• Attention to detail;
