The Parking Supervisor oversees the Parking employees on duty and monitors the employees to enforce and uphold parking procedures, guidelines and service standards to protect all guests, employees and company assets of REAL. The Parking Supervisor works collaboratively with other departments, clients, promoters, and emergency services (Police, Fire, EMS, and First Aid Providers).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Perform and supervise the day-to-day activities of the Security Division by:

  • Ensuring adequate supervision of employees
  • Assigning and positioning work locations
  • Preparing reports; distributing uniforms; coaching and training on proper processes/protocols and promptly reporting any disciplinary concerns to management.
  • Ensures liquor laws are being enforced.
  • Ensures smooth traffic flow.
  • Enforcing traffic laws
  • Issuing parking tickets
  • Investigating incidents, addressing complaints, and compiling data to recommend solutions.
  • Recording and tracking event capacity numbers

Dates: January 1, 2025 - March 22, 2025

Requirements

WHAT IT TAKES

  • Must be at least Nineteen (19) years of age.
  • Grade twelve (12) education is required or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Able to walk/stand for full duration of shift.
  • Current First Aid certification
  • Previous supervision experience an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the proven ability to lead and motivate team members.
  • Strong time-management skills and a proven track record of delivering quality results, with attention to details.
  • Excellent decision-making skills
  • May work odd or long hours at a time to complete operational requirements, projects or to participate in or coordinate evening and off-hour activities.
  • Possess a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's License.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check for the duration of employment.
  • Note that this position is an in-scope position under the RWDSU Collective Agreement.
