We are looking for an enthusiastic engineering manager with a strong technical background and expertise in Agile methodologies to help lead part of our talented and innovative engineering team. Why that's important: 5% of the world's population suffers from disabling hearing loss, 60% of childhood hearing loss is due to preventable causes, and the majority of people with disabling hearing loss live in low-middle income countries. We can help. With our products, hearing testing can be conducted outside of a sound booth and without the need for clunky equipment (you just need a calibrated headset and an iPad), which allows for testing almost anywhere, anytime, worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Oversee and contribute to the development of implementation roadmaps and long-term strategic plans.
- Ensure timely delivery of milestones by monitoring progress and resolving challenges.
- Evaluate team performance metrics and drive improvement strategies.
- Manage priorities, resource allocation, and capacity to meet strategic objectives.
- Guide teams on execution strategies and establish both temporary and permanent team structures.
- Set learning and performance goals in collaboration with PO's and squad leads.
- Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability within and across teams.
- Coach and mentor team members to support their growth and development.
- Ensure teams are focused on high-priority goals and aligned with strategic objectives.
- Ensure adherence to Agile processes, development practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Support cross-team collaboration and maintain accurate records for compliance.
- Conform to security awareness training and organizational information security policies.
- A positive, solutions-oriented attitude with a passion for tackling complex problems.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, fostering team ownership and growth.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Qualifications:
- Academic background in computer science or engineering.
- 5+ years of technical experience, including 5+ years in technical leadership roles.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
