WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Inbox Design Inc. is seeking a proactive and strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead our logistics and procurement efforts at Inbox Booths. Supply Chain is a team of 1 and this person will join our growing operational/logistics team of 4. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supply chain management, demonstrating expertise in inventory optimization and vendor negotiation. Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify process improvements are essential for enhancing our operational efficiency. Excellent communication and leadership abilities will be crucial in collaborating with cross-functional teams. A passion for sustainability and innovation in supply chain practices will align with our commitment to delivering high-quality products with top tier customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability while minimizing extra inventory costs.
- Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the timely delivery of materials.
- Process Optimization: Analyze supply chain processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to accurately forecast demand and adjust supply chain strategies accordingly.
- Logistics Coordination: Manage logistics operations, including transportation and warehousing, to ensure smooth and timely product delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, finance, and quality assurance teams to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to senior management on supply chain performance.
- Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CIPS) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management or logistics
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools; strong data analysis and forecasting skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on timelines and deliverables.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of successful negotiation with suppliers and vendors.
- Knowledge of Industry Standards: Familiarity with supply chain regulations, best practices, and sustainability initiatives.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust strategies as needed based on changing business needs.
