Key Responsibilities:
- Power Up Performance: Ensure the efficient operation and performance of all plant equipment and systems, keeping everything in top shape.
- Daily Troubleshooting: Conduct daily troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair tasks, including preventive maintenance on all plant and building equipment.
- Monitor Utilities: Oversee the operation and monitoring of plant utilities, ancillary equipment, related control panels, and building control systems.
- Install & Configure: Install and configure both new and existing equipment to optimize our operations.
- Maintenance Guru: Assist in developing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to keep our equipment running at peak performance.
- Team Support: Collaborate with other trades on mechanical repairs and provide support wherever needed.
- Emergency Ready: Carry out additional duties, including emergency repairs and general building maintenance, to ensure minimal downtime.
- Effective Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all staff across shifts to ensure seamless operations.
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience (food production experience is a plus!)
- Valid Electrician license, preferably as an Industrial Electrician
- Strong mechanical skills to assist with various maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting or programming is advantageous
- Proven experience in maintaining preventive and ongoing maintenance programs
- Proficient in computer use; knowledge of PMXpert CMMS software is preferred
- Instrumentation and calibration experience is considered a bonus
- Ability to perform additional maintenance tasks, including welding, minor plumbing, and refrigeration
