Purpose of this Role:
This position focuses on driving sales, managing product specifications, engaging clients, and executing projects. As a brand ambassador, you will represent a leading luxury design firm by promoting a high-end portfolio of tile, stone, and wood products.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
As an Architectural & Design Sales Representative, you will:

  • Engage with clients in the architecture and design community to drive sales and grow relationships.
  • Promote the company's premium product line, providing expert guidance on materials and specifications.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial client interaction to project completion.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, upholding the company's reputation for quality and design innovation.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and leadership to meet and exceed sales goals.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has extensive experience in sales, particularly in flooring, surfaces, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrates strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Is highly self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects under pressure.

As an Architectural & Design Sales Representative, you will:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow market presence.
  • Provide in-depth product knowledge to help clients make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and deliver product samples and presentations to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.

YOU ARE/HAVE:

  • 10+ years of sales experience in a related industry (e.g., flooring, surfaces).
  • Degree or diploma in business management, interior design, or a relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of tile, stone, or wood products.
  • Skilled in MS Office Suite and CRM tools (Prophet21 knowledge is an asset).
  • A team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Reliable transportation for client meetings.

Considered an asset:

  • Experience in design/build construction or interior design.
  • High levels of enthusiasm and a professional demeanor under pressure.
