Summary:
Our client is seeking an Application(s) Engineer to lead estimating activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll prepare firm bid proposals for a range of advanced gas processing systems while fostering client relationships and supporting project teams.
This role offers significant growth opportunities, allowing you to develop expertise in a collaborative setting.
- Lead proposal activities for a wide array of systems, including:
- Gas Sweetening
- Gas Refrigeration
- Deep Cut Plants
- TEG and Mole Sieve Dehydration
- Condensate Stabilization
- Separator Packages
- Carbon Capture Solutions
- Fractionation Trains
- Heat Medium Packages
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Project teams to meet client expectations and ensure technical and commercial accuracy.
- Prepare cost estimates and formal quotations, review supplier proposals, and optimize processes for efficiency.
- Support project execution by providing technical input and collaborating across departments.
- Create P&IDs, preliminary layouts, and handoff materials for awarded projects.
- Continuously improve proposal strategies and processes.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with an Engineering Degree.
- Knowledge of gas processing, fabrication, plant layout, and industry codes (e.g., ASME Section VIII, B31.3).
- Skills in interpreting technical data, mass/heat balances, and process designs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel/Word) and AutoCAD.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
