We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Rigger to join our dynamic team.Job Description: As a Rigger, you will be responsible for assembling, securing, and disassembling rigging equipment to lift, move, and position heavy loads in various work environments. You will work closely with crane operators, engineers, and other team members to ensure safe and efficient operations.Key Responsibilities:
- Counter Balance: Large pieces (11 ft x 11 ft x 5 ft) that is being loaded / unloaded / installed
- Rope & Equipment Setup: Rig and secure loads using ropes, cables, chains, slings, and other rigging equipment.
- Load Positioning: Operate hoisting machinery and cranes to lift and move heavy materials, machinery, and structures.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and ensure safe work practices.
- Inspection: Inspect rigging equipment for wear and tear, and report any necessary repairs or replacements.
- Collaboration: Work with supervisors and team members to execute complex lifting and rigging tasks safely and efficiently.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with rigging equipment or lifting procedures as they arise.
- Proven experience as a rigger or in a similar role within construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Certification in rigging (e.g., NCCCO, CIC, or equivalent) is preffered but NOT required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and lift plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions (e.g., heights, confined spaces, etc.).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required).
