Front -End Web Developer - In Office Position, 5 days per week (M-F)

We Know Training is looking for a full-time highly skilled, detail oriented Front-End Web Developer to join our Marketing Team full-time in our Edmonton office. The successful candidate will support our efforts to measure and optimize digital campaigns and revenue attribution, as well as work on our storefront websites.

Your Opportunity:
As a Front-End Web Developer, you will play a key role in assisting the marketing team with setting up and optimizing tracking and conversion actions. You will also be responsible for the front-end development of all storefront websites built on our proprietary RAPID LMS platform. This position requires the ability to learn and master the RAPID LMS system, while ensuring seamless integration between marketing tools and our platforms, to provide accurate spend versus revenue tracking for both organic and paid campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage conversion actions, Google Tags, and tracking for organic and paid campaigns across multiple platforms (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Learn and work with RAPID LMS, our proprietary learning management system, on which all our storefront websites are built.
  • Convert designs shared by graphic designers to fully functional responsive W3 compliant websites that pass Page speed tests and have a high ranking on search engines.
  • Support marketing team in creating and testing landing pages and user journeys on the website to improve conversion rates.
  • Implement solutions that connect marketing spend data with revenue and attribution tracking.
  • Write and review code to ensure accurate tracking of key performance metrics (leads, sales, ROI) and to support website development on RAPID LMS.
  • Manage and monitor tag management solutions (Google Tag Manager) to ensure proper event tracking is in place for marketing campaigns.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to analytics, attribution, and campaign tracking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support storefront web development and ensure high-quality, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Stay updated with front-end development best practices, especially those related to marketing technology and web development.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in front-end development with a focus on web design and development for marketing and analytics integration.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Experience with leading web development or CMS/LMS technologies such as WordPress, Shopify, Etsy is a plus.
  • Proficient in mobile first user interface and user experience design for websites.
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and other marketing tracking technologies.
  • Experience with conversion tracking (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn) and setting up custom events.
  • Ability to read and understand documentation, then write code for system integrations and data flow.
  • Knowledge of API integrations to connect marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) with storefront websites.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot tracking or development issues.
  • Experience or willingness to learn proprietary systems (e.g., RAPID LMS) for web development.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
