Wage: $42 - 45 hourly DOE (Journeyman) + $2 shift premium for afternoon shift (no rotation) $3000 SIGN ON BONUS!

Shifts:Journeyman - Tuesday - Saturday 8am - 4:30 pm (Saturday 6am - 2:30 pm)

Evening shift also available for Apprentice or Journeyman - Sunday - Thursday 3pm - 11:30pm

Requirements:

• Red Seal or AB Journeyman Truck Mechanic certification preferred
• Experience with trucks & trailers - engines, diagnostics & emissions
• CVIP License an asset
• Criminal background check, drug/alcohol screening are required
• Must have own tools

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose,service and repair all systems and components of transport trucks and trailers.
• Service, adjust, repair or replace parts and components
• Read and understand work orders, task procedures, and interpret technical manuals.
• Write work orders and diagnose the cause of failures.
• Perform inspections as per the Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program only if licensed to do so
• Other duties as required
