Pool Associate Coordinator
The Town of Tecumseh is accepting resumes for the following student employment position for the Summer of 2025 in the Community & Recreation Services Department.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Supervisor Recreation Programs & Events, the Associate Pool Coordinator are responsible for the daily operation of the Tecumseh Leisure Pool. This includes assisting with staff training, evaluating and supervision staff, monitoring activities, implementing schedules and daily assignments, customer service and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
The successful candidate must be enrolled in a post-secondary and have a minimum two (2) years experience in aquatic programs. Candidates must hold current National Lifeguard (NL), Lifesaving Instructor, Swim Instructor, CPR-C including Automatic External Defibrillator and Standard First Aid Certifications. Strong verbal and written communication skills are also required. Supervisory experience, National Lifeguard Instructor / Examiner Certification, Aquatic Supervisor Training, HIGH FIVE certification with QUEST 2 and knowledge in registration/scheduling software are considered assets. All aquatic awards must be current and valid as a condition of employment; original qualifications MUST be presented at time of interview.

Salary
The Town offers an hourly salary of $21.00 (under review) for this position.
