Role: Data Scientist-Service Assurance (Commercial Managed Services)

Job Description:
Position Overview: Lead the data analytics practice within the Service Assurance PMO, focusing on commercial managed services performance analysis and optimization. This role combines technical expertise with business acumen to drive data-informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Spearhead the data migration initiative from legacy systems to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Design and implement data visualization solutions using Google Looker, Tableau Dashboard and MS Power BI
Develop predictive models for service performance optimization
Develop volume forecasting models against tactical automation delivery
Create automated reporting solutions for operational KPIs
Provide actionable insights to improve service delivery metrics
Lead the establishment of data governance practices
Serve as the technical SME for data-related initiatives
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
5+ years experience in data science and analytics
Proven expertise in:
o Python, R, or similar programming languages
SQL and database management
o GCP infrastructure and tools
o Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
Data visualization tools, specifically Google Looker
Statistical analysis and machine learning
Experience with telecommunications data analysis preferred
Strong understanding of IT service management principles
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in data modeling and ETL processes
Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms
Expertise in statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms
Strong programming skills (Python, SQL, R)
Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform
Experience with BI tools, specifically Google Looker
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills to present complex data insights to various stakeholders

Key Deliverables:
Establish and maintain data analytics framework
Lead successful data migration to GCP
Develop automated reporting solutions ( Operational KPI's, Actual Volume, Trending and Forecasting)
Provide monthly performance insights and recommendations
Create predictive models for service optimization
This role reports to the PMO Manager and will work closely with service delivery teams, technical specialists, and senior management.
