Our Windsor- Essex, ON based food manufacturing client is looking for the Materials Planner for their facility.

Pay - $55k-65k/year

Reporting to the Manager of Production Planning and Inventory Control, the Raw Materials Planner will be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining relationships with raw material vendors
• Using SAP to ensure a consistent and adequate supply of raw materials for production
• Assisting the PPIC Manager in anticipating raw material conflicts that may impact the production schedule
• Creating vendor forecasts and purchase orders
• Maintaining SAP master data and vendor contracts

• University degree or College diploma in business, logistics, material planning, or a related field
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
• 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced production environment (SAP experience preferred)
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles is an asset
• Excellent communication skills
